on Task 1 «Develop management decisions aimed at preventing the development of diseases in the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account local characteristics”:
-the activity of primary health care organizations (hereinafter referred to as PHC) will be assessed using international standard methodology;
-the capacity of the PHC system to provide assistance to patients with COVID-19, as well as patients with other somatic diseases in conditions of increased epidemiological danger, will be assessed;
– management solutions will be developed for PHC facilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, aimed at eliminating or improving the efficiency of hospital management and ergonomics, identifying the real need for personnel, medicines, material and technical equipment, including including during the COVID-19 epidemic;
– a health risk assessment from environmental factors will be carried out to study the real harm and assess the risks from all sources of air and water pollution, including from industrial facilities in 38 largest cities of Kazakhstan;
on Task 2 “Develop recommendations for changes in the clinical practice of the Republic Kazakhstan for the purpose of using genetic predisposition to the development of diseases and the effectiveness of drugs in preventive measures and pharmacotherapy”:
– the 16 most important socio-economic diseases, including COVID-19, will be studied. – select drugs whose abnormal susceptibility polymorphisms are widely distributed in the Kazakhstani population;
– early pre-symptomatic diagnosis and individualized selection of drugs taking into account genetic predisposition will be introduced in the practical healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
by Task 3 “Create a technology for obtaining autologous genetically modified T- chimeric antigen receptor (CAR-T) expressing lymphocytes and to use CAR-T lymphocytes for adaptive immunotherapy in patients with leukemia”:
– T-lymphocyte DNA editing technology will be developed and implemented to increase their effectiveness in destroying cancer cells in the treatment of acute leukemia in children;
for Task 4 “Based on gene and cell technologies, develop and to introduce into clinical practice a personalized cell transplant with a high regenerative potential for restorative and replacement therapy of lost functions of organs and systems”:
– personalized cell transplants will be developed and introduced into clinical practice for restorative and replacement therapy of lost functions of organs and systems.
